Advertising and Products: Bachelor in Paradise Season 7

Because the Bachelor in Paradise is a spinoff and/or continuation of the two hit series The Bachelor and the Bachelorette they rarely use in-show sponsorships. Most products that could be advertised have their logos covered or blurred out.

Most of the cast gets paid from sponsorships post show. For example, the controversial cast member Brendan Noreis was sponsored by Nordictrack, an athletic equipment company. Sponsorships like this appeal to the audience because they are lifestyle related and most people watching the Bachelor in Paradise are young people who are interested in lifestyle brands and staying fit. In addition to that cast member Serena Pitt, famous for her relationship with Grocery store joe is sponsored by several wellness brands on her Instagram, anywhere from Nutrafol, a hair growth supplement brand (link to her Instagram), to Vital Proteins Canada, a collagen brand (link to her Instagram), which are both targeting the demographic of the show.

When it comes to advertising with commercials for the show a lot of the ads are very interchangeable. Right now one of the key ads they show is a casting commercial to be on the Bachelor. These commercials feature current cast members and hosts. During Lil Jon’s bout as a host he did the voice over for casting commercials. Another rendition of the casting commercial included Wells, the former cast participant, turned bartender. Another commercial that was shown while playing the Bachelor in Paradise season 7 was Beyonce and Jay-z’s ad for Tiffany and Co. A couple of food and drinks brands that are used during commercial breaks are Heineken, which also included cast member Wells, and Cheerios. Overall, there is a variety of advertising done between segments of each episode of the show on season 7.
