History: Bachelor in Paradise Season 7

Bachelor in Paradise has been going seven seasons strong. It is produced and filmed in Mexico. The show was developed as an elimination style spinoff of the Bachelor and Bachelorette series that spans over 7 weeks. The Bachelor has had 25 seasons and the Bachelorette has had 17 seasons. The Bachelor in Paradise is shown on the ABC network which features other shows such as The View, Dancing with the Stars and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Although season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise has a different carousel of hosts, normally the show would have Chris Harrison as their only host.

The Production company in charge of Bachelor in Paradise is Next Entertainment Warner Horizon Television. Next Entertainment Warner Horizon Television is a branch of Warner Brothers Entertainment that aids in producing unscripted programming for traditional broadcast networks. The executive producers in charge of the show are Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton and Nicole Woods. Mike Fleiss was actually the topic of domestic abuse allegations, in which the show's former host Chris Harrison spoke out about, that people feared would trouble the Bachelor franchise. Although it is not disclosed how much the production of Bachelor in Paradise costs, contestants usually do not make money during their time on the show. They make money off the endorsements they do post production. If they are lucky enough to be paid to be on the show they can make a per-episode, per-day, or flat rate. Reality Steve says, “it is anywhere from $7,000 to $15,000.”
