The reality television show I chose to analyze is Season 7 of the Bachelor in Paradise. This was a very easy decision for me because I have always followed the Bachelor and Bachelorette series. Personally, the Bachelor in Paradise spinoff is my favorite series of the Bachelor trilogy. I love the idea of the contestants from the Bachelor and Bachelorette getting a second shot at finding love even after they were unable to do so on their respective seasons. The cast is always super dynamic aiding in the success of the show. The most intriguing thing about Bachelor in Paradise is the drama and how at any given moment some can pop up on the isolated Mexican island and stir things up. The trailer to season 7 is what really grabbed my attention.
Bachelor in Paradise is one of those shows I will really carve out time to watch even if I am busy. There are a lot of shows that I want to watch during the week, but don’t have time to do so. Bachelor in Paradise keeps up the suspense of what happens next by always having a trailer at the end of the episodes that gives just barely enough of a glimpse to keep me running back.
One of the most interesting things to me about the show is how they are able to date around. In the day and age we live in, the real world does not allow you to do that free of judgement. Personally, that is something I wish we could do, so I find myself living through the cast to do so, even if it does get messy. I am excited to watch how the drama unfolds.
